WHY I'M RUNNING FOR STATE SENATE
I’m running for State Senate because I believe Missouri can do better. We have too many attorneys and career politicians in Jefferson City who have forgotten the values of limited government, hard work and common sense.
I’m a small business owner and a conservative who got involved in politics to give back to our community. As Buchanan County Presiding Commissioner, I have fought tirelessly for the conservative principles of limited government, by cutting spending and keeping taxes low.
As I’ve knocked on doors and visited with people in Platte and Buchanan counties, I’ve heard one thing: people are sick of what politics has become.
They want someone who will go to Jefferson City and fight for the values they care about by defending the Second Amendment, protecting the lives of the unborn, ensuring that we have quality infrastructure, and resolving the issues with crime in our communities.
Unfortunately, Jefferson City is full of hot air. I will go down there and take on the attorneys, career politicians, and well-connected political insiders who would rather fight with each other than find common sense solutions to the challenges facing our state. We need elected officials that can make tough decisions, and do the right thing instead of worrying about getting re-elected.
